Governance answers where the work happens
Ethira is a third-party risk and AI governance platform. Its Slack app puts that platform in your channels: ask the agent about a vendor, a questionnaire, or a risk and get an answer in-thread. Onboarding, Trust Exchange, and alert notifications arrive where your team already reads them.

How it works inside Slack
Mention it, and it answers in the thread
Ethira joins the channels you configure. When someone mentions it or sends it a DM, it reads the thread it was invoked from, looks the answer up in your Ethira workspace, and replies in place, so the decision and its trail stay in the same conversation.

Request and track AI tool onboarding
@Ethira can we onboard Notion MCP for the product team?
👋 Got it! I've opened an MCP tool request for Notion MCP. A reviewer will be notified to approve or reject it. You'll hear back here once a decision is made.
What the app does
Four things, done where you already are
Ask the agent in-thread
@mention Ethira in a channel or send it a DM and it answers about vendors, questionnaires, risks, and workspace tasks. The answer lands in the thread you asked from, with the conversation as context.
Operational notifications
Vendor onboarding progress, Trust Exchange access requests, discovered-vendor alerts, and questionnaire updates land in the channels your admins choose.
Channel-based workflows
Pick the public or private channels Ethira operates in. It can join a channel when configured, and it maps Slack user groups to the reviewers and approvers you set up in Ethira.
Questionnaires without leaving Slack
Drop a security questionnaire into Slack and Ethira extracts the questions and continues the workflow. No context switch, no re-upload.
Installing it
Three steps, about a minute
- 1
Click Add to Slack
You are taken to Slack to sign in with your work account. Use your work email, because Ethira workspaces are keyed to your company domain.
- 2
Pick your Ethira workspace
If you are new, Ethira creates a workspace for you. If you already belong to more than one, you choose which one this Slack workspace connects to.
- 3
Approve the permissions
Slack shows exactly what Ethira can read and post. Approve, and you land on a page in Ethira with the next three things to do: invite the bot to a channel, mention the agent, and pick a notification channel.
Before you install
Two things to know
The agent uses large language models
Ethira's Slack agent is powered by large language models, and its answers can be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify anything you are about to act on. It assists your judgement, it does not replace it.
The AI agent container needs a paid Slack plan
Slack's AI agent container requires a paid Slack plan. Notifications, channel setup, questionnaire workflows and Trust Exchange requests all work on free Slack plans too.
Privacy and support
What we do with your data, and how to reach us
Ethira does not use your Slack message content to train foundation models, and it is not a Slack export or backup product. Slack tokens are stored encrypted, and every Slack workspace is isolated to the Ethira workspace it was connected to.
